From completing a few roofs a week to a few a day, we’re proud of our consistent growth as a company. But where did our success come from?
Founded by the Figueroa family in 2011, we were originally known as Artisan Quality Builders and provided everything from windows to general contracting. Soon after, we decided to focus on the one area that we enjoyed the most – and where we could become true specialists – roofs! So, in 2013, along with our 3-man roofing crew (now our crew leaders), we became Artisan Quality Roofing.
All these years later, our original crew has grown to 18 skilled in-house technicians and we’ve moved from a small storage facility office to our own office condo, to breaking ground on a brand new multi-floor warehouse office building! Rather than hire various subcontractors, we chose to develop a tight-knit team we could rely on to deliver exceptional roofing services, every time.
Unlike many roofing companies, we don’t employ subcontractors for roof replacements and repairs. Instead, we have our very own crew of highly-skilled roofing contractors who work extremely hard to deliver an impeccable final result, every time.

I come from an extensive family of construction professionals and have been around it most of my life. Early in my home renovation career, I remodeled several homes as well as built custom homes and additions.
Although this was a great experience, I decided to specialize in roofing and gutter systems because I enjoy interacting with customers and seeing their satisfaction when the job is done.
As the founder of Artisan Quality Roofing, I’m proud to see what Artisan has evolved into. Our success is a testament to our team who are truly the best examples of professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. We are BLESSED!
In my free time, I enjoy boating, traveling, playing pool, and spending time with my family & my best buddy Sarge (my Rottweiler).
My role as co-owner means wearing many hats, from accounting to HR to hiring, and more! I graduated college with a degree in English, but soon after graduating, I worked as a recruiter for account professionals.
While working in sales, I learned the importance of professionalism, integrity, and caring for every customer. Never did I imagine that the skills and experience I gained would lead me to join talents with my husband, Abel, someday. Together, we built Artisan from scratch; and I’m so proud of what it has become!
In my free time, I love traveling, boating, reading, and spending time with my family and our furry pets.
Before joining Artisan, I was a customer of Artisan! We had our roof replaced by Artisan a few years ago and had a great experience with them. After spending many years first working in the Auto Dealership industry and then for the Town of Cary, I decided to switch career paths.
Artisan lets me work with customers in need of great roofing services while also helping to improve the life and look of their homes as I work closely with them to choose the best option for their homes.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my beautiful wife and daughters. I’m a bit of a weekend warrior when it comes to smoked meats and grilling, and I also love playing golf whenever I get the chance.
I grew up in Raleigh, NC after moving here from Maplewood, NJ in 2001. Before working for Artisan, I was doing landscaping and pest control. I joined Artisan because I wasn’t seeing enough growth at my current position, and I wanted to try something new if it were going to better myself.
I’m extremely glad I did and am in a much happier and stronger mindset than before! I enjoy observing the guys work and learning how to do new things every day. It’s the best company I have worked for and hope to continue to grow. Outside of work, I like to spend time with friends and family. I also enjoy hockey, videogames, cooking, and fishing.
Before I joined Artisan, I worked as a Warehouse Dock Worker for an aluminum extrusion company in Ohio. In 2021, a good friend told me about Artisan and let me know they were looking for a Warehouse Technician to join their team.
After learning more about Artisan (and finding out I could move to North Carolina!) I knew I wanted to join! I was excited to work for a local, family business that operated with honesty.
At Artisan, I help manage our warehouse space, receive material shipments, and deliver materials to project sites. I love getting to meet new people every day. And it’s convenient to get my workout in every day with my job!
Outside of work, I love exploring the Triangle Area and going to local events and restaurants.
After attending Wagner College where I studied Arts Administration & minored in writing, I decided to take the leap of faith from the Big Apple to Raleigh in pursuit of a place to call my own. Joining Artisan in the beginning of 2024 as Office Administrator, I handle scheduling for all of our projects and walk homeowners through the roof replacement process from start to finish.
I enjoy working in this customer-facing role, working alongside a team of creative, driven, and compassionate people all striving toward the common goal of customer satisfaction.
I intend to place my roots at Artisan as to not only grown my experience, but to expand my horizons during a pivotal moment in my young adult life. I am excited to watch Artisan, and the team, continue to make strides in the Triangle Area.
When I am not sending shingle colors or scheduling estimates, I enjoy vintage shopping, weightlifting, and watching true crime documentaries with friends.
